Become a Foster or Adoptive Family
We know that becoming a foster/adoptive parent can be a very confusing and overwhelming process.
With AzPaC and its partners, you will receive answers to your questions and guidance through the
process. Our staff are here to guide you and help you make the life-changing decision to foster and/or
adopt.
FOSTER LICENSING & ADOPTION CERTIFICATION
In collaboration with Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), AzPaC and its partner agencies recruit,
train, assess each potential foster/adoptive family’s ability and readiness to become a licensed foster or
certified adoption family in Arizona. Becoming a foster or adoptive home means caring for children who
need either a temporary placement or a permanent safe home where they can be nurtured, feel safe,
and thrive.
